I like to start my day with warm lemon water. It is very refreshing and gets your digestive system started positively. All you need is warm water and squeeze a lemon.

I used to suffer from reflux, gastritis, and heartburn. Once I started implementing this in my routine along with other habits, my digestive system has been so much better.


Drinking Warm lemon water in the morning right when we wake up is very beneficial in many ways.

Treating the body with a warm cup of lemon water is a way of waking it gently and softly to begin digesting and nourishing it through food. It gives us time to slow down in the morning and take the time to be grateful for all our body does for us. Every morning, as I drink my warm lemon water, it relaxes me and sets my day off to a good start as I connect with my thoughts and list of work.

It feels different than when I wake up in a rush to drink coffee right away after waking up.


I recommend waking up and drinking warm lemon water 30 minutes before breakfast.

I usually warm water in a kettle while unloading the dishes in the morning, drink my water, go on with other morning routines, and then have breakfast. It gives me enough time to go from drinking the warm lemon water to breakfast time.
